I am not a computer geek so all I can base my review on is my personal impression about this little device.
- Battery life for me realisticly is 7-8 hours when I use this for internet and music playback, if WiFi is used and an acceptable but not maximum screen brightness
- It's size and the light weight is really impressive, very easy to carry around.
- I find the touch of the surface a little alien (prefer non-glossy surfaces) but the mouse is usable
- it came with a nice black protective case which I wasn't aware of but was a good surprise because I didn't have to buy one separately.
- the jack plug of the charger cord (the one on which goes into the netbook) seems a little weak - very thin. No problems so far but it is just not very comforting because I think it can cause problems in the future as it's not robust enough.
So far I'm happy with it and I cannot be more amazed over the outstanding battery life which I am not used to.

I have recently purchased this to take back and forth to uni. It lives up to its job :). Handles office applications easily and even watching videos doesnt trouble it. Just as a test I tried one old game called team fortress classic on it and while it was playable it showed its limitations here.
The battery life on it is superb, it has 3 different modes which it can be set into which are basically - conserve the battery, high performance, super performance. The difference between these modes being mainly in the battery life, super performance knocks an hour and a half(ish) off the potential life of the battery. However it does come in handy when using the webcam, I noticed it is rather laggy in battery conservation mode but when cranked up to super performance it smooths it considerably.
The laptop is very light and came with a protective soft case. It very easily fits inside my bag and I don't tend to notice the weight. The clamshell design looks nice and the white colour is nice at first, but it does get dirty VERY easily as you would suspect.
I rated it 4 star purely because of the sound. I didnt expect the speakers to be anything special, but they do sound ever so tinny and quiet. Thought they might be a little clearer. Things improve once you plug some decent headphones into it but the volume is still quite low.
However it does fulfill my needs very well and I would recommend it if you're looking for a cheap,light tool to use for simple applications and the internet.

This is a fantastic little machine and is so useful when away from the office or home. It is truly portable unlike the majority of laptops and the battery life is outstanding.
