This product has brought me hours of joy and been reasonibly funtional. However,before buying this product I would be absolutely clear what you want you intend to use it for.
This product will:
Let you surf the web
Stream music and video
Type up documents or do spreadsheets etc.
It will also fit into a normal sized handbag or backpack along with your other day to day bits.
If this is all you intend to use it for then dont worry, go a head and buy it.
The 2g Surf will not however:
Allow you to store very much on its miniature 2 gigabyte SSD hard drive. Most of this drive is taken up with the operating system itself
It is unsuitable to play most modern games the graphics card and screen are mostly inadequate
Network File sharing using the out of the box operating system. It is possible to either install a different operating system (linux distribution or windows) or another applications to achieve this.
Install or play anyting from a CD or DVD, it has no optical disk drive. Although you can install things from the internet, an SD card or a USB drive.
I mostly used this machine to type up my revision notes, and I now use it to try out different operating systems.
At the current price it is perhaps overpriced, and for the same money it is possible to get a much better model.
